    The Nelson Farmers Market is the heart of our community. Our goal is to provide residents with local, healthy food options and to create a strong sustainable and resilient food system here in Nelson, BC. All vendors, returning and new are required to fill out an application each year.
  2. Privacy Statement
    The City of Nelson is collecting your personal information in accordance with Section 26 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The City of Nelson and collects your information for the purposes of administering City of Nelson programs and services, including permits and licensing services.     I certify that I have read and agree to the following the guidelines outlined in THE GUIDELINES FOR THE  SALE OF FOODS AT TEMPORARY FOOD MARKETS by the BCCDC. And my business will remain in full compliance for the entirety of the Nelson Farmers Market season

  6. Please upload your High-Risk food Clearance approval. To obtain approval contact your local Health Authority Representative 

  7. Please upload a copy of your Current Liquor License Market Authorization.

  9. How many Booths do you require?
  10. Do you require power on-site?

    Vendors can only use electrical use of no more than 1200 watts. and the use of one receptacle.  

  11. Please check the dates that you wish to attend the Nelson Farmers Market. Please note you will be charged for the selected days prior to the start of the season.

    Yout will be sent an invoice for every date selected before the start of the season. Please double-check for accuracy. Please refer to our cancellation policy found in the Vendor Handbook. 

    *Please note. for the Special Markets there may be additional charges 

  12. Submitting Information

    By pressing submit you agree to act accordingly within the rules and regulations in the Vendor Handbook. The Market Manager/staff reserve the right to refuse the sale of products that are not listed and pre-approved. By submitting online, I confirm the information provided in my application is true and accurate. If found otherwise, I risk the chance of disciplinary measures that include being removed from vending at the market.
