NOTICE OF WORK

PHASE II - 100 BLOCK BAKER STREET WATERMAIN UPGRADES

The water utility crews from the City of Nelson will be replacing the watermain on the 100 Block of Baker Street. The work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 9th and is expected to last for a period of three to four weeks.

➡️ Traffic flow on Baker Street will be altered to one-way only, travelling west to the four-way intersection with Highway 3A. 

➡️ Access to Herridge Lane from Baker Street will be closed temporarily.

➡️ Water interruptions will be required to connect buildings to the new upgrades. If your business or building is affected, a separate notification will be given prior to the scheduled shut-off. (Please communicate with your staff and customers about the pending interruptions.) 

➡️ Respect traffic and parking signage, and protect your vehicles by parking away from the construction zone.
