Due to the deterioration of the existing steel transformer vault lids in the downtown core, the lids are being replaced with upgraded galvanized lids which will prevent deterioration for the foreseeable future. In total, 26 transformer vault lids will be replaced.
This work is being conducted by McNally Excavating Ltd. and will continue until the end of May 2022.
Road and sidewalk closures may be necessary to ensure worker and public safety.
Establishments or residences that may be directly affected by closures will be contacted in advance of any closures.
Exact dates and times for each site closure will be shared with businesses that are impacted by this work.

Obey all signage and directions.
Use an alternate route, where possible.
Allow extra time when travelling through the area.
Park vehicles away from the construction site.
