The handyDART low-floor, accessible bus service is operated by the Regional District of Central Kootenay in partnership with BC Transit. Service between Naksup and Nelson is operated by Arrow and Slocan Lakes Community Services. Conventional accessible service, rural transit service and door-to-door handyDART services are available for people who are unable to use the conventional transit system.

Service Types

There are two types of handyDART services:

• One-time trips. Call to make a reservation at least 24 hours prior to your trip.
• Regular subscription trips. Call to set up your regularly scheduled pick up.
